Cashless Moneybox

ASB tasked Kamahi to help them develop, design and build Clever Kash – their smart cashless moneybox that encourages Kiwi kids to save and learn about money.

The BTLE toy needed secure/encrypted communications to iOS mobile, long battery life and excellent safety compliance – in a simple package. High volume also meant price was a central design driver, challenging the Kamahi team to find innovative and efficient design solutions that could be rapidly prototyped.

Drawing on our broad and deep experience in electronics, firmware and mobile integration, we were able to guide and support the clients and their diverse stakeholders through their first step in this domain – and develop an award-winning product.
