Hunter Safety Lab asked Kamahi to develop the electronics for its world-first IRIS Hunter Detection System. Their ground-breaking design – powered by Kamahi electronics – won a ‘supreme’ Purple Pin at the 2014 Best Awards.

The IRIS sensor emits pulses of infra-red laser and can detect hunters up to 150m away. Squeezing a lot of components onto an extremely small PCB put Kamahi’s firmware and micro-controller design innovation to the test, resulting in a lightweight but rugged device that balances price against simplicity and reliability.
